01 Telxpress in Santa Ana

What does Telxpress do for businesses in Santa Ana?

Telxpress installs and supports business technology for companies in Santa Ana, California: phone systems, networking and Wi-Fi, structured cabling, surveillance cameras, conference room audio visual and business internet, plus AI advisory and AI voice agents. Site visits come from our own office in Irvine, about 11 miles away as the crow flies, with our own technicians and 24/7 support.

Nothing on this page is a promise about your project. Every installation starts with a survey of your space, and how we work is the same in every city: advise first, build what we recommend, and support it afterwards. The service area page covers Orange County, Los Angeles County and San Diego County as a whole.

02 At a glance

Santa Ana at a glance

Santa Ana's estimated population was 312,808 on January 1, 2026 (provisional), according to the California Department of Finance E-1 estimates released May 2026. That makes it the third most populous city in Orange County on the same table, and it is the county seat. Santa Ana is laid out on the flat plain between the channelized Santa Ana River on its west side and Tustin and Irvine to the east, with Costa Mesa to the south. The city center is about 11 miles from our Irvine office as the crow flies, and the 5 freeway connects it to the Spectrum area directly.

Downtown holds the Santa Ana Civic Center, a dense campus of city, county and federal buildings including the Ronald Reagan Federal Building and Courthouse, surrounded by law offices and the Historic South Main Business District. North along Main Street is the Midtown district with the Bowers Museum, MainPlace Mall and the Discovery Cube, formerly the Discovery Science Center. South and east, the city shares the South Coast Metro office district with Costa Mesa and has designated Metro East, where the 5 meets the 55, for mixed-use development. The County of Orange is the city's largest employer, followed by the school district, Santa Ana College and companies such as First American.

John Wayne Airport carries a Santa Ana address at the southern edge of the city, and the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center brings Amtrak and Metrolink trains downtown. For technicians this is a city of older multi-story buildings downtown, where telecom rooms and risers hold decades of previous work, and newer office parks toward the airport. Documenting what exists before touching anything is the first job on most Santa Ana projects.

Sources: population from the California Department of Finance E-1 Population Estimates for Cities, Counties and the State, January 1, 2025 and 2026 (dof.ca.gov, table released May 2026); the city center on the map is the coordinate of the Wikipedia article, and the distance is computed from it to our office at 230 Goddard, Irvine, CA 92618-4625 with the haversine formula (straight line, not driving distance). Districts, parks and employers are named from the city's official website and the same article, as of October 2026.

03 What we install

What do we install in Santa Ana?

The six business technology services below are designed, installed and supported from our Irvine office. Each line describes the kind of Santa Ana buildings and businesses we see most, not a statistic; every project still starts with a survey of your space.

  • 01

    Audio Visual

Conference and hearing rooms for law firms and professional offices around the Civic Center, training rooms for nonprofits and agencies, and digital signage for the retail corridors along Main Street and Bristol Street.

  • 02

    Connectivity

Business internet and fiber quotes for offices downtown and in the parks toward the airport, with the carrier coordination an office move needs so service is live before the furniture arrives.

  • 03

    Phone Systems

Phone systems for professional offices, clinics and agencies that take a high volume of public calls, with Spanish-language menus, queues and after-hours routing configured for the way the office actually works.

  • 04

    Networking

Network refreshes for offices moving off aging switches and Wi-Fi, with firewalls and segmentation for organizations that hold client, patient or public records.

  • 05

    Cabling

Structured cabling for office moves and tenant improvements, including the older downtown buildings where existing cable has to be traced, labeled or removed before new runs go in.

  • 06

    Surveillance

IP cameras and access control for light industrial buildings, parking lots and storefronts, with recording on your own network and views that cover docks and entrances rather than every square foot.

Not sure which of these you need? Send us the address and what the business does and we will tell you what a survey would look at.

04 AI advisory

AI advisory for Santa Ana businesses

Santa Ana organizations answer a lot of calls from the public: patients, clients, residents, customers. The AI questions here are about answering every one of them, in English and Spanish, routing them to the right desk and capturing the details, then automating the follow-up that a busy front office never gets to. Our advisory work starts with a free readiness assessment and ends in a written roadmap.

05 How a site visit works

How does a site visit work?

Five steps, the same for a conference room, a phone system or a whole office move in Santa Ana. The survey is free with the consultation; the quote covers the rest.

  1. Survey

We walk the space with you, your contractor or your building manager: rooms, cabling paths, the telecom room, and the phone and network equipment already in place.

  2. Design and quote

You receive a written design and a quote for the whole project, with options where a choice matters, and a schedule agreed with building management.

  3. Install

Our own technicians do the work, on your schedule and within the building rules, including after-hours windows when the business cannot stop.

  4. Documentation

You get as-built drawings, test results, labels that match the drawings, and the logins and settings for everything we configured.

  5. Support

The same team answers the 24/7 support line afterwards, and remote support settles most questions without a return visit.

07 Questions

Questions about working with us in Santa Ana

Do you charge for site visits in Santa Ana?

The survey that starts a Santa Ana project is part of the free consultation, and installation visits are inside the written quote you approve before any work begins, so there is no separate travel line. For support visits afterwards, your service agreement or quote states what is included, and remote support settles many questions without a visit.

Which permits does low-voltage work need in Santa Ana?

Permit requirements are set by the City of Santa Ana's building department and depend on the scope. Cabling and cameras inside an existing suite are treated differently from work that penetrates fire-rated walls, adds electrical circuits or forms part of a tenant improvement. We confirm what applies during the survey and include any permit in the quote.

Can you work in multi-tenant buildings in Santa Ana?

Yes. Downtown office buildings, the towers around South Coast Metro and the office parks toward the airport are mostly multi-tenant, and we coordinate with building management for telecom room and riser access, insurance certificates and after-hours work windows. Where a general contractor runs the build-out, we join the low-voltage walkthrough and follow their schedule.

Do you support existing systems from other vendors in Santa Ana?

Yes. Most Santa Ana projects start with equipment someone else installed: a phone system, a network, cameras. We assess what is in place, keep what still serves you and replace only what the plan calls for, then support all of it through one 24/7 line. Partners include Yealink, Nextiva, Avaya, Yeastar, Polycom, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Cisco Meraki and Hikvision.

How far is Santa Ana from your office?

Santa Ana's center is about 11 miles from our office at 230 Goddard in Irvine as the crow flies, and the 5 runs from the Spectrum area to downtown directly. Site surveys and installations are scheduled visits; support calls are answered 24/7 and remote support covers many questions without a trip.
