Cloud VoIP and UCaaS
Hosted phone systems such as Nextiva with auto attendants, ring groups, voicemail to email, call recording, video meetings and mobile apps. We design the call flow, set it up and keep it tuned.
Business Technology ยท Phone Systems
Telxpress designs, installs and supports cloud VoIP, UCaaS and on-premises phone systems from Yealink, Nextiva, Avaya, Yeastar and Polycom, then connects them to Donya and your CRM so every call is answered and followed up.
Telxpress is an Irvine-based business phone systems provider serving Orange County and Southern California. We assess how your team handles calls today, recommend the right mix of cloud VoIP, UCaaS or on-premises PBX, port your numbers, install the handsets and train your staff. Every system we install is supported locally, around the clock.
UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) is a cloud phone system that bundles calling, voicemail, video meetings, team messaging and call analytics into one subscription per user, delivered over your internet connection instead of on-site phone equipment.
SIP trunk is a phone line delivered over the internet to a phone system you already own, replacing analog lines or a PRI circuit from the carrier while keeping your PBX, handsets and call flows in place.
Compare your options
Most Orange County offices choose between keeping an on-premises PBX, moving to hosted VoIP, or adopting a full UCaaS platform. The right answer follows from how your people work, not from the newest brochure.
| Consideration | On-premises PBX | Hosted VoIP | UCaaS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where call control runs | A server or appliance in your telecom room (Avaya, Yeastar) | The provider's cloud; desk phones and apps register over the internet | The provider's cloud, with calling, meetings and messaging in one platform (Nextiva) |
| Cost pattern | Higher upfront hardware and licensing, lower recurring cost | Low upfront, a monthly fee per user or per line | Low upfront, a monthly fee per user that includes video and chat |
| Remote and mobile staff | Possible with VPN or remote phone licenses; more to maintain | Built in: softphone and mobile apps use the same extension | Built in, plus meetings and messaging from the same app |
| Video meetings and team chat | Separate tools | Usually separate tools | Included |
| Who maintains it | Your IT team or Telxpress under a support agreement | The provider for the platform; Telxpress for phones, network and changes | The provider for the platform; Telxpress for phones, network and changes |
| Growing or adding a location | Needs capacity planning and sometimes new hardware | Add users and ship phones; sites share one system | Add users and ship phones; sites share one system |
| Connecting Donya and your CRM | Through a SIP trunk or call forwarding; CRM logging needs extra integration work | Simple call routing to Donya; CRM integrations vary by provider | Simple routing to Donya; CRM integrations and call analytics are part of the platform |
| Best fit | Single site, mostly desk-bound staff, strict on-site control | Small and mid-size offices that want modern calling without running a server | Teams with remote staff, several locations, or plans for AI call handling and CRM automation |

What we install and support
Hosted phone systems such as Nextiva with auto attendants, ring groups, voicemail to email, call recording, video meetings and mobile apps. We design the call flow, set it up and keep it tuned.
Yealink and Polycom handsets, cordless DECT phones for warehouses and clinics, conference room phones and headsets, staged before installation so every desk works on day one.
Avaya and Yeastar systems for sites that need call control in the building, with SIP trunks, remote extensions and a path to the cloud when the time is right.
Replace aging analog lines and PRI circuits with SIP trunks on your existing PBX, often cutting the monthly carrier bill while adding capacity and failover.
Queues, call-back, wallboards, recording, after-hours routing and overflow to Donya so callers are answered whether or not someone is at the desk.
Overhead paging, door intercoms, fax lines, alarm panels and elevator phones integrated or migrated so nothing is left behind when the old system is retired.
AI call handling
Donya, the AI voice agent built and run by Telxpress, sits inside your phone system as a destination you route calls to. You decide when it answers: after hours, when every line is busy, when a caller chooses a menu option, or as the first voice on a sales line.
Donya greets the caller, answers common questions, qualifies the need, books appointments and transfers live calls to the right person with context. With a UCaaS platform, call logging, screen pops and click-to-call connect the phones to your CRM, so every conversation Donya or your staff handles is recorded against the right contact.
The phone system is the foundation. If it drops calls or cannot route by time of day, no AI agent can fix that. That is why we review the phones, the network and the CRM together before recommending Donya.
Moving from on-premises to cloud
Four steps, one local team. The old system stays live until the new one has proven itself.
We map how calls reach your team today: numbers, auto attendant, ring groups, voicemail, call recording and any fax or alarm lines. Then we check the network and recommend a platform and handsets.
We submit the number port to the carrier, configure the new system in the cloud or on site, stage the Yealink or Polycom phones, and make sure switches, PoE and quality-of-service are ready.
The new system runs beside the old one. We test every call path, the after-hours flow, emergency address details and the handoff to Donya before any customer-facing number moves.
Staff learn their phones and the mobile app in short sessions. We cut over on a quiet day, stay on site that morning, and support the system around the clock from then on.
Call quality depends on the network more than on the phones. Before any installation we check for Power over Ethernet on the switches, a separate voice VLAN, quality-of-service rules on the firewall, and an internet connection with enough headroom. Where a site cannot afford downtime, we recommend a second circuit so calls keep flowing if the primary line fails.
If the building needs work first, our networking team installs the switches, firewall and Wi-Fi, our cabling technicians run and certify new drops, and our connectivity advisors source the internet and SD-WAN. One partner, one schedule.
Client results
We had a major phone system crash. That very same day, Telxpress came to the rescue and installed a brand new state of the art system and we were back up and running the very same day! Never have I had such a dedicated commitment from one company. Our system has been up and running without failure and Telxpress continues to impress me with their level of customer service and support. Thanks from all of us at Saleen, Inc.
It has been two months since our phone system was installed. The system has performed very well and is meeting all our needs. This memo is to thank you for your excellent service and prompt responses to our needs. When our law firm started up, we had to move very quickly to get up and running and the phones are a critical part of our operation. Tele Express was able to adapt to our changing needs with timely and competitively priced proposals. Installation was done to meet our schedules and your team reacted very well to our many special requests. Our thanks goes out to you for your in-depth knowledge of business needs and your high quality products and services which has served our company well. We look forward to an on-going relationship with Tele Express as we grow our business and partner with you for our future needs.
Tele Express organized a new phone system for our office and exercised patience and efficiency, while teaching our staff to use all the features. We have used Tele Express when the need arises for all our salon locations' phone system needs ever since. We have found their service to be excellent.
Yes. Business numbers, including toll-free numbers, can be ported from your current carrier to the new system. We gather the account details, submit the port request, and schedule the cutover so your old line keeps ringing until the new one is live. You keep the numbers your customers already know.
Not always. Voice traffic is small compared with video or file transfers, but it is sensitive to delays and dropouts. We test your current connection and network before recommending anything. Many offices only need quality-of-service settings and a voice VLAN; some benefit from a second connection so phones stay up if the primary circuit fails.
It depends on the age of the system, how your team works and what you want calls to do next. A healthy PBX with mostly desk-bound staff can run for years, often with a SIP trunk to cut carrier costs. Remote staff, multiple locations, or plans for AI call handling usually point to hosted VoIP or UCaaS.
Donya receives calls from your phone system like any other extension or forwarding destination. You choose when: after hours, when lines are busy, or as the first answer on a sales line. Donya qualifies the caller, books appointments and transfers live calls to your staff, and the conversation summary lands in your CRM.
Timelines are set mostly by number porting, which the carriers control, and by any cabling or network work the site needs. We give you a written schedule after the site survey, run the old and new systems side by side, and pick a quiet day for cutover so your customers never hear a dead line.
