Accessibility Statement

Updated October 8, 2026. Telxpress wants every visitor, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to read this site and reach us through it.

Telxpress is committed to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across telxpress.com. The site was rebuilt in 2026 with that target from the start: semantic HTML, keyboard access, visible focus, sufficient contrast and no feature that depends on JavaScript. Where we fall short, tell us and we will fix it.

What standard do we aim for?

Our target is WCAG 2.2, conformance level AA, as published by the W3C. We treat it as a working practice rather than a one-time audit: every new page is checked against the same list before it is published, and the automated checks that run before each release cover heading structure, page titles and descriptions, structured data and every internal link.

What is in place today?

  • A "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element on every page, and unique landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) so screen-reader users can move between regions.
  • One heading per page at level one, with the rest in order, and headings written as the questions readers actually ask.
  • Everything operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and tap targets at least 44 pixels on a side.
  • Text and interface colors chosen from a palette that meets AA contrast on both light and navy backgrounds. Color is never the only way information is shown.
  • Menus, FAQs and forms that work without JavaScript, using native browser controls. Scripts only add convenience.
  • Form fields with visible labels, error messages linked to their fields, and no time limits on completing a form.
  • Meaningful alternative text on informative images and empty alternative text on decorative ones; any embedded video loads only on request and opens in the player with captions where the platform provides them.
  • Fluid, resizable text up to 200 percent without loss of content, and layouts that work at narrow widths without horizontal scrolling.
  • Reduced-motion preferences respected: decorative animation stops when your system asks for less motion.

What are the known limitations?

  • Any embedded video is played in YouTube's player, whose controls and captions are outside our control. The written content next to a video covers the same points.
  • Older articles migrated from the previous website may have images without descriptive alternative text or headings out of order. We correct these as we review each article; tell us about any you find.
  • Maps, where shown, are provided as images with the address in text beside them. The address and directions are always available as text.
  • Documents provided during a project (proposals, drawings) may be PDFs produced outside this site. Ask us for an accessible version and we will supply one.

How do you report a problem?

If anything on this site is hard to use, or you cannot complete a task, please tell us. Email info@telxpress.com with the page address and what happened, or call (949) 861-4500, which is answered 24 hours a day. Say which browser and assistive technology you use if you can. We aim to acknowledge within one business day, fix blocking problems first, and tell you when the fix is live.

How do we check?

Pages are tested with keyboard-only navigation and with screen readers on desktop and mobile, with browser zoom and large text settings, and with automated checks run before every release. Testimonials, partner logos and other content supplied by third parties are reviewed when they are added. This statement is reviewed whenever the site changes substantially and at least once a year.

Accessibility questions

How quickly do you fix a reported accessibility problem?

We aim to acknowledge every report within one business day and tell you what we found. Problems that block a task, such as a form that cannot be submitted with a keyboard, are fixed first, usually in the next deployment. Smaller issues are scheduled and you can ask us for the status at any time by replying to our acknowledgment.

Does the site work without JavaScript or with a screen reader?

Yes. Every page, menu, FAQ and form works with JavaScript disabled: menus open with native controls, FAQs use the browser's own disclosure element, and forms submit as ordinary requests. Pages use landmarks, one heading per level in order, labeled fields and visible focus, so screen readers and keyboard users get the same content and controls as everyone else.

Can I get the content in another format?

Every page is available as plain Markdown by adding index.md to its address, which many assistive tools and reading apps handle well. If you need a document in large print, a different file type, or want someone to walk you through a page by phone, call the 24/7 line or email us and we will provide it.

Found Something We Should Fix?

Tell us the page and what went wrong. A person reads every report, and we would rather hear about a problem than have you work around it.
