How it works
AI readiness is how far a business already runs on AI across its daily operations: calls answered, leads followed up, data in one place, meetings captured, a network that can carry it, and a team and policy that make it stick. The assessment measures that in ten areas and sums the result.
Each question has four options scored from zero to three points, so the total runs from zero to 30. The total places you in one of four bands, and the three lowest-scoring areas become your three opportunities. The scoring is fixed and deterministic: the same answers always produce the same result.
| Band | Score | What it usually means |
|---|---|---|
| Starting | 0 to 9 | Most of your calls, follow-up and customer data still depend on people remembering to act. The good news is that the first AI projects at this stage usually pay back fastest, because they remove missed calls and slow replies. |
| Emerging | 10 to 16 | You have some of the pieces in place, such as a phone system or a contact list, but they are not connected and AI is not yet part of daily work. A short roadmap would turn these pieces into a working system. |
| Ready | 17 to 23 | Your systems, network and team can support AI today. The opportunities below are where a focused deployment, such as a voice agent or meeting room upgrade, would show results within the first quarter. |
| Advanced | 24 to 30 | AI is already built into how you operate. The remaining opportunities are about depth: tighter integrations, governance that keeps pace, and measuring the return on what you have deployed. |
The opportunities link to how we approach each area, from the Donya voice agent for after-hours calls to AI-enabled meeting rooms and a connectivity review. For the full picture of how an engagement runs, read about AI advisory and strategy.
The assessment
Yes. The assessment, your score, the band explanation and the three opportunities are free and there is nothing to buy afterwards. We offer a free 30-minute consultation to talk the results through, and roadmaps or deployments are quoted only after discovery, if you decide you want them.
Your answers, score and contact details are stored in our own customer system so an advisor can review them and follow up by email or phone. We do not sell or share them, there is no newsletter sign-up, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time by emailing the address on our privacy page.
No. Every question asks how your business works day to day: what happens to a call after hours, how quickly a lead hears back, where customer records live. If you are not sure, pick the option that is closest and add a note when you book the consultation; an advisor confirms the details with you.
A low score is the most common result and often the best place to be, because the first AI projects at that stage usually pay back fastest. Removing missed calls and slow replies does not require replacing your systems. Your three opportunities show exactly where to begin, and the consultation puts rough costs and timelines on them.
Yes. Answer for the location or business unit you know best first, then take it again for another site with its own phone system or team. Each submission produces its own results page. If several locations share one phone system and CRM, one assessment is usually enough and we discuss the differences on the call.
