Free Tools for Business Phones, Networks and AI Calls
Three free calculators and generators built by the Telxpress team for owners and IT managers: what missed calls cost your business each month, how much bandwidth your VoIP calls need by codec, and a California call-recording and AI-agent notice generator. Each one works without sign-up, shows its math and sources, and every result has a link you can share.
01 The tools
Which free tool do you need?
Three tools for the questions we hear most, and the assessment that puts them in context.
- 01 Calculator
Missed-call cost calculator
Turn the calls you miss into lost revenue per month and per year, then compare voicemail, an answering service and an AI voice agent.
- 02 Calculator
VoIP bandwidth calculator
Concurrent calls and codec in, bandwidth per call and in total out, with headroom guidance and the full packet math from the RFCs and Cisco.
- 03 Generator
California call-recording and AI-agent notice generator
A spoken greeting, an IVR notice, a privacy-policy paragraph and a staff line for recorded or AI-answered calls, with the rule behind each line.
- 04 Assessment
Free AI Readiness Assessment
Ten questions about your calls, workflows and systems; your score, your readiness band and three AI opportunities on the next page.
02 How they work
How do the tools work?
Each one is a plain web form that works with or without JavaScript, computes on our server or in your browser, and stores nothing.
-
Enter your numbers
A plain form on the page. No account, no email address, nothing installed; your entries only travel in the page address.
-
Read the result and the math
Every constant is quoted from a public source linked under the tool. Every other figure is one you typed.
-
Share the link
The address holds your inputs, so a colleague who opens it sees the same result. Change a number and the link changes with it.
03 Questions
Questions about the free tools
Are the Telxpress tools really free, and do I need an account?
Yes, and no. Every tool on this page is free to use as often as you like, with no account, no email address and nothing to install. The result appears on the same page. If you want help acting on it, the free consultation and the AI readiness assessment are optional next steps, never a condition.
Where do the numbers in the results come from?
From you and from cited public sources, never from us. The calculators only multiply the figures you type in, and the few constants they rely on, such as codec bit rates and packet header sizes, are quoted from the IETF RFCs and vendor documents linked under each tool. Where no reliable source exists, the field has no default.
Can I share or bookmark a result?
Yes. Each tool is an ordinary web form, so your inputs become part of the page address. Copy the link from the result block and send it to a colleague, paste it into a proposal or bookmark it; whoever opens it sees the same inputs and the same result, with no sign-in. Change a number and the address updates.
Can my team embed or reuse these tools?
You are welcome to link to any tool from your own site, newsletter or internal wiki, and to quote the results with a link back. We do not offer an embeddable version, because the pages are kept up to date here as sources and laws change. If you need one for your industry, tell us.
