01 Telxpress in Huntington Beach

What does Telxpress do for businesses in Huntington Beach?

Telxpress installs and supports business technology for companies in Huntington Beach, California: phone systems, surveillance cameras, business internet, networking and Wi-Fi, structured cabling and conference room audio visual, plus AI advisory and AI voice agents. 02 At a glance

Huntington Beach at a glance

Huntington Beach's estimated population was 191,498 on January 1, 2026 (provisional), according to the California Department of Finance E-1 estimates released May 2026. That makes it the fourth most populous city in Orange County on the same table and the most populous city on the county coast. Huntington Beach is bordered by Seal Beach to the northwest, Westminster to the north, Fountain Valley to the northeast, Costa Mesa to the east, Newport Beach to the southeast and the Pacific to the southwest. Originally called Pacific City and renamed in 1903 for Henry E. Huntington, it markets itself as Surf City USA. The city center is about 15 miles from our Irvine office as the crow flies.

Downtown runs along Main Street to the Huntington Beach Pier, with the Hyatt Regency and the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort among the hotels on Pacific Coast Highway. Inland, Boeing's installation is the city's largest employer, with Cambro Manufacturing and Huntington Beach Hospital also among the largest, and Bella Terra and Old World Village are the main shopping centers. Huntington Harbour, at the north end, is a residential marina community with its own businesses, and the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve separates it from downtown.

The 405 crosses the north of the city and Beach Boulevard, State Route 39, runs south from it to Pacific Coast Highway; most of the rest is surface streets. For our technicians, Huntington Beach means three kinds of building: hotels and restaurants on the coast where salt air and guests set the rules, industrial buildings inland with high ceilings and long cable runs, and the offices and medical buildings around Huntington Beach Hospital and Bella Terra. Each gets a survey first.

Districts, parks and employers are named from the city's official website and the same article, as of October 2026.

03 What we install

What do we install in Huntington Beach?

The six business technology services below are designed, installed and supported from our Irvine office. Each line describes the kind of Huntington Beach buildings and businesses we see most, not a statistic; every project still starts with a survey of your space.

  • 01

    Audio Visual

Meeting rooms for offices and medical buildings inland, and sound, displays and digital signage for hotels, restaurants and event spaces along Pacific Coast Highway and downtown.

  • 02

    Connectivity

Business internet quotes and carrier coordination for offices, hotels and industrial buildings, including the inland parks around Boeing where availability has to be checked address by address.

  • 03

    Phone Systems

Phone systems for hotel front desks, restaurant reservation lines and service businesses that run on the phone all day, and for professional and medical offices with after-hours routing.

  • 04

    Networking

Wi-Fi and switching for hotels, restaurants and industrial floors, with guest networks kept apart from point-of-sale and back-office systems and firewalls sized for the traffic.

  • 05

    Cabling

Structured cabling for office moves and for industrial and hospitality buildings, with outdoor-rated and corrosion-resistant hardware where cable or cameras face the coast.

  • 06

    Surveillance

IP cameras and access control for hotels, restaurants, industrial yards and parking, with housings chosen for salt air and recording kept on your own network.

Not sure which of these you need? Send us the address and what the business does and we will tell you what a survey would look at.

04 AI advisory

AI advisory for Huntington Beach businesses

Huntington Beach businesses in hospitality and services live by the phone: reservations, bookings, service calls, the question a guest asks late at night. The AI questions are about answering every one, booking and confirming without a person on hold, and turning missed calls into recovered business. Our advisory work starts with a free readiness assessment and a remote conversation.

05 How a site visit works

How does a site visit work?

Five steps, the same for a conference room, a phone system or a whole office move in Huntington Beach. The survey is free with the consultation; the quote covers the rest.

  1. Survey

We walk the space with you, your contractor or your building manager: rooms, cabling paths, the telecom room, and the phone and network equipment already in place.

  2. Design and quote

You receive a written design and a quote for the whole project, with options where a choice matters, and a schedule agreed with building management.

  3. Install

Our own technicians do the work, on your schedule and within the building rules, including after-hours windows when the business cannot stop.

  4. Documentation

You get as-built drawings, test results, labels that match the drawings, and the logins and settings for everything we configured.

  5. Support

The same team answers the 24/7 support line afterwards, and remote support settles most questions without a return visit.

07 Questions

Questions about working with us in Huntington Beach

Do you charge for site visits in Huntington Beach?

Projects here are planned as scheduled visits, and the survey that starts one is part of the free consultation. Installation visits are inside the written quote you approve before work begins, so there is no separate travel line. For support afterwards, your service agreement or quote states what is included; remote support settles many questions without a drive.

Which permits does low-voltage work need in Huntington Beach?

Permit requirements are set by the City of Huntington Beach's building department and depend on the scope. Cabling and cameras inside an existing building are treated differently from work that penetrates fire-rated walls, adds electrical circuits or forms part of a tenant improvement. We confirm what applies during the survey and include any permit in the quote.

Can you work in multi-tenant buildings in Huntington Beach?

Yes. The office buildings around Bella Terra, the inland industrial parks and the retail downtown are mostly multi-tenant, and we coordinate with property management for telecom room and riser access, insurance certificates and after-hours work windows. Hotels add rules about guest areas and quiet hours, and we plan the work inside them.

Do you support existing systems from other vendors in Huntington Beach?

Yes. Hotels and industrial buildings usually come with a phone system, a network and cameras someone else installed. We assess what is in place, keep what still serves you and replace only what the plan calls for, then support all of it through one 24/7 line. Partners include Yealink, Nextiva, Avaya, Yeastar, Polycom, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Cisco Meraki and Hikvision.

How far is Huntington Beach from your office?

Huntington Beach's center is about 15 miles from our office at 230 Goddard in Irvine as the crow flies, so projects there are planned as scheduled visits rather than drop-ins. By road the 405 runs from the Spectrum area west to Beach Boulevard. Support calls are answered 24/7 and remote support covers many questions without a trip.
